James Morrison - Undiscovered

James Morrison, uma nova voz no panorama musical internacional. Podemos considerá-lo como uma mistura de Joe Cocker (quando jovem), Terence Trent D'arby e Norah Jones (apesar de esta compor ao piano). Uma mistura de soul e blues com uma certa irreverência, talvez vinda da sua idade, 21 anos. Mas só posso esperar coisas boas quando oiço um cantor-compositor começar a sua carreira desta maneira. Todo o seu albúm é fenómenal. Somos invadidos por tantos sentimentos através das suas letras e ao mesmo tempo embalados pela sua voz quente. Talvez esta, a voz, seja o seu maior trunfo, e o que o diferencia de outros musicos tais como James Blunt, Damien Rice, Gavin DeGraw.

Globos de Ouro

E ai estão novamente os Globos de Ouro. A antecamâra dos Óscares. É onde os candidatos aos Óscares se alinham, onde as apostas começam a ser feitas para os possiveis vencedores da estatueta dourada. À que destacar o prémio para melhor realizador ganho por Scorsese ( veremos pois se este ano se Scorsese vai finalmente receber o Óscar pelo filme The Departed), Melhor Filme para Babel (penso que o Óscar não fuja, como disse anteriormente, melhor filme de 2006) e Melhor Actor Série Dramática para Hugh Laurie (excelente actor com cada vez melhor desempenho na série de eleição, House M.D.).
